Dr. med. Dipl.-Chem. Konrad F. Cimander is a specialist in general and addiction medicine, heads the K.C.M. Hannover Competence Center for cannabis medicine and is President of the German Medical Cannabis Society (DMCG). He is a lecturer on addiction medicine, psychopharmacology and cannabis medicine.

Werdegang
Dr. med. Dipl.-Chem. Konrad F. Cimander is a specialist in general medicine and addiction medicine. He studied chemistry and human medicine at the University of Münster and earned his doctorate there in hand and trauma surgery.
After more than nine years in a leading role in the research and development of psychoactive medicines in the pharmaceutical industry, in 1993 he founded the Competence Center for Addiction Medicine, Infectiology and Cannabis Medicine in Hannover, which he led until 2023.
Since 2017 he has headed the K.C.M. Hannover Competence Center, specializing in cannabis medicine, based in Wedemark.
He was a lecturer at Hannover Medical School (1996–2005) and has been giving lectures on addiction medicine, psychopharmacology, prevention and cannabis medicine at the University of Göttingen for over 14 years.
Cimander is a founding member and, since 2022, President of the German Medical Cannabis Society (DMCG e.V.), as well as a member of the 420Pharma Circle of Experts.
